My name is Caitlin. I'm American. I'm technically an adult but I'm not legal to drink yet. I take photos, like dogs, listen to music, read books. Throw in food and it sounds like a party I'm hosting. Sometimes I write. Sometimes I film. Sometimes I travel.
By Webster Dictionary definition, a photo is "the product or art of producing images of objects on sensitized surfaces by the chemical action of light or of other forms of radiant energy, as x-rays, gamma rays, or cosmic rays."
By Caitlin McElwee definitely, a photo is nostalgia in a shape. It's capturing a feeling and remembering it years later.
I like faces. How strange that must sound...
The cool thing about faces is that everyone has one. Even if you don't think you have any spectacular talents (even though you do) or an attractive personality (even though you do), you have a face. A face that's all uniquely yours. And I like that.
Why yes! Occasionally, I do scribble a pen on a piece of paper (or, in the case of most 21st Century instances, click my fingers along my keyboard...) and produce an insane amount of word vomit.
